Booking Policy
A tour is considered booked after we have received the downpayment of 15% of the total travel sum in our account. For smooth operation of all the arrangements that need to be done, we generally need to have received this amount 45 days prior to the travel date. In the case of some boutique or otherwise special hotels we may have to make full advance payment at the time of booking, on which we will inform you in advance.
Cancellation POLICY
Tours are considered booked after 15% of the total tour price has been received in the bank account of JAN Treks and Travels (JTT). This amount is non-refundable.
For smooth operation of the tour, the remainder of the tour price should be received no later than 30 days before the start of the tour. Tours booked and subsequently cancelled will be subject to cancellation charges as follows:
- Earlier than 30 days before arrival date – no charges other than administrative fee.
- After 30 days before start of the tour – 15% of the tour price.
- After 21 days before start of the tour – 25% of the tour price.
- After 14 days before start of the tour – 50% of the tour price.
- • After 07 days before start of the tour or no show – 100 % of the tour price.
- An administration fee of USD 25/- will be applicable for all cancelled tours.

Cancellation policy will follow the policy of the issuing agent. There will be no additional charges from the side of JTT.
For instance: on most flights booked through domestic Indian airlines or through Makemytrip there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 or 1500 upto 3 hours before departure. The same will apply to tickets booked through JTT.
However, if cancellation or date changes are requested within 24 hours prior to departure we are not responsible for successful communication with the airlines or ticketing agency. Cancellation Policy for Air Tickets from/to BhutanCancellation policy will follow the policy of the issuing agent. There will be no additional charges from the side of JTT. Druk Air tickets will be subject to cancellation charges as follows:
- 90% refund for the ticket cancelled more than 30 days from the first date of travel.
- 75% refund for the ticket cancelled from 10-29 days from the first date of travel.
- 50% refund for the tickets cancelled from 04-09 days from the first date of travel.
- 03 days or less no refund.
* For every date change a reschedule fee is applicable. An administration fee of USD 25/- per ticket will be applicable for all cancelled tickets, once we have issued the tickets.
